    Here is some sample footage taken with my IPI Thermocopter of a recent installation of a 4.5kw Solar Panel System. Solar panels can be tricky to image, apart from the obvious locational and line of site issues. They are reasonably reflective as you can see from the cloud reflections. We also require strong sunlight to provide sufficient energy which can also provide an additional error source. I imaged this system several times throughout the day and the one cell on the far right (upper) panel showed to be consistently warm indicating a possible deficiency. You can see that even with moderate levels of reflection, this hot spot does not move as the camera changes angle.
